Kuching, July 24, 2026 – The Natural Resources and Environment Board (NREB) successfully conducted an Anti-Bribery Management System (ABMS) Training from July 20 to 24, 2026, at Penview Hotel, Kuching, as part of its ongoing commitment to strengthening organisational integrity and promoting a culture of transparency and accountability.

The five-day training programme brought together employees from every division and unit within NREB, reflecting the organisation's collective commitment to implementing and maintaining an effective Anti-Bribery Management System (ABMS).

The training was designed to equip participants with the knowledge, skills, and awareness required to support the implementation and continual improvement of the ABMS in accordance with ISO 37001:2025 standards.

Throughout the programme, participants gained a deeper understanding of the requirements of ISO 37001:2025, while enhancing their awareness of bribery risks and the legal, financial, and reputational consequences associated with bribery and corruption. The sessions also emphasised the importance of individual responsibility in preventing, detecting, and addressing bribery-related risks within the organisation.

The successful completion of the training underscores NREB's commitment to upholding the highest standards of ethical conduct, good governance, and regulatory compliance, while reinforcing public trust in the organisation's operations and service delivery.
