The Miri Water Forum was organised by Curtin University Malaysia, Pustaka Negeri Sarawak Miri and IEM Miri. The objective is to bring together key stakeholders from government, industry, academia and civil society to engage with the forum on the future of water infrastructure and development in Sawarak. It is also to explore and share insights of stragetic management and technological innovations for sustainable water systems.
Besides that, challenges and opportunities for rural and urban water supplies were discussed especially in the context of Sarawak's unique geographical and socio-economy landscape.
