KUCHING, 9 October 2026 – The Natural Resources and Environment Board (NREB) Sarawak held a discussion with representatives from Sarawak Energy Berhad (SEB) at NREB Headquarters as part of its engagement with selected companies for the pilot study of the Environmental Information System for Scheduled Waste Management System (EnvISS-SWMS).

The session aimed to provide an overview of the pilot study and engage with SEB on the implementation and use of the system.

Representatives from Sarawak Information Systems Sdn. Bhd. (SAINS) also briefed the participants on SPass registration, which is required for companies to gain access to the system.

This engagement reflects NREB’s continued efforts to facilitate stakeholder participation and support the implementation of EnvISS-SWMS to enhance scheduled waste management and environmental information management in Sarawak.
