KUALA LUMPUR, 13 February 2026 – Four NREB officers completed the Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Quantification and Emissions Management Training Course from 9–12 February 2026, followed by the Lead GHG Verifier and Validator Training Course on 13 February 2026 at The North Garden Tower, Level 29, BSI Training Centre.

The participants were Nurharith Afnizan bin Zainorin, Sinanawati Marto, Nurshenie binti Samuni and Azizi bin Jesenu. The programme was facilitated by Mr Thye Kim Song, Trainer and Verifier from BSI Group.

This practitioner-level training certifies participants upon passing an online examination within 30 days. The course covered key GHG reporting standards issued by the International Organization for Standardization, namely ISO 14064-1, ISO 14064-3 and ISO 14068-1.

Participants gained practical knowledge on GHG quantification, reporting, validation and verification processes, supported by hands-on exercises. The training strengthened participants’ technical competency in ensuring accurate, transparent and standards-compliant greenhouse gas reporting and emissions management practices.
