Kuching, 5 January 2026 - An educational visit by students and a lecturer from Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Sarawak was conducted on 5 January 2026 at the Meeting Room, Level 20, Natural Resources and Environment Board (NREB). The visit was organised under the Collaborative Group Collaborative Teaching (CGCT) initiative for the course Environmental Chemistry (CHM576).

A total of 18 students from the Bachelor of Science (Hons) Chemistry Programme, accompanied by their lecturer, took part in the programme. The visit aimed to provide students with exposure and practical insights into waste management practices and environmental sustainability initiatives implemented by NREB. This educational engagement complemented the theoretical concepts learned in the classroom and enhanced students’ understanding of real-world environmental management applications.
