KUCHING, 17 December 2025 – An engagement and technical visit to HGST Malaysia Sdn Bhd was conducted by officers from the Natural Resources and Environment Board (NREB) together with officers from the Department of Environment (DOE). The visit involved AC Noor Azima binti Mohamad Dahlan Badar, Ms. Hawiena binti Husaini, Ms. Rosnah binti Abdullah Zainal and Ms. Jorinda Samentha (Protegee).

The visit was organised in support of DOE officers who are currently preparing their Field Training Report on CePSWI and the Air Pollution Control System (scrubber). It also aimed to enhance participants’ understanding of scheduled waste management practices implemented at the facility.
