Briefing on the latest Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for Post Environmental Impact Assessment (Post-EIA) Monitoring was delivered by AC Manaffery Bin Madhan at two NREB divisional offices, namely NREB Bintulu on 17 December 2025 and NREB Betong on 18 December 2025.

The sessions aimed to update officers on the revised SOP for conducting Post-EIA Monitoring, particularly on field implementation and compliance with the latest procedures. The briefing also included a question-and-answer session to clarify new requirements and operational practices.

At NREB Betong, officers involved included SAECO Willie Michael Jepus, SAECO Timothy Iran, AECO Syafiq Bin Abdul Majid, SEA Julian Bin Jolhiri, EA Alhafiz Bin Abdul Azidi, EA Asyran Zharif Bin Mos, PT Nur Asyiqin Binti Ahmad, Protege Alliesha Dundun and PKB Abdul Rahman Bin Rajee.

The briefings are part of ongoing efforts by NREB to ensure consistent understanding, effective enforcement and improved efficiency in Post-EIA Monitoring across divisions.
