SAMALAJU 11 Dec 2025 - A delegation from the Natural Resources and Environment Board (NREB) Sarawak conducted an engagement and technical visit to Press Metal Bintulu (PMB) Sdn. Bhd., Samalaju, Bintulu today. The visit aimed to enhance understanding of scheduled waste handling procedures implemented at the facility while fostering stronger collaboration between NREB and the company.

The NREB Headquarters team comprised ChM Nur Aida binti Nur Azman, Ms. Hawiena binti Husaini, Dr. Matthlessa anak Matthew Minggu, Ms. Rosnah binti Abdullah Zainal, Mr. Alfonso anak Nelson, Mdm. Angela Selalang Balan, Howell anak Jerry and Ms. Jorinda Samentha (Protegee). They were joined by representatives from the NREB Bintulu Office, Ms. Siti Hajar binti Wahab and Mr. Azizi bin Jasenu.

During the session, PMB briefed the team on its fundamental scheduled waste management practices, highlighting key operational measures to ensure compliance. The visit also provided a platform for constructive discussions to strengthen future cooperation in promoting effective and responsible waste management in the region.
