Sarikei, 11 Nov 2025 Tuesday - The Worldview Climate Solutions (WCS) Capacity Building Workshop was successfully conducted at the Oriental Evermore Hotel, Sarikei. The event was jointly organised by the Lembaga Amanah Kemajuan Islam Kuala Rajang (LAKIKR) and the Sarawak Timber Industry Development Corporation (STIDC).

The workshop featured a comprehensive briefing by ECO Anthony Malang from the Natural Resources and Environment Board (NREB), which offered invaluable insights into the evolving regulatory landscape governing carbon projects in Sarawak. The session provided clarity on the State’s proactive efforts to regulate the carbon market, particularly through the implementation of the Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Ordinance.
