Sematan 17 -19 Oct 2025 - Natural Resources and Environment Board (NREB) Sarawak, in collaboration with Sekolah Kebangsaan Pueh, successfully held Eco Camp Peringkat Daerah Lundu Tahun 2025. This event aims to nurture young leaders who are passionate about conveying environmental awareness.

This event was graced with support from Lundu Education District Office (PPD) and various stakeholders, including the Department of Environment, Sarawak Energy, and Press Metal Bintulu Sdn Bhd. This event was held in conjunction with Hari Alam Sekitar Negara Peringkat Sarawak Tahun 2025, which will be held on 29 October 2025 at Roxy Beach Resort, Sematan. The event celebrated its success with a total participation of 78 students under the guidance of 46 teachers from 9 schools from Lundu District. 

The closing ceremony was graced with Datu Jack Anak Liam, Controller of Environmental Quality, Sarawak, from NREB. It was highlighted that Hari Alam Sekitar Negara Peringkat Sarawak Tahun 2025 will be held at Roxy Beach Resort on 29 October 2025 in conjunction with the main event of Hari Alam Sekitar Negara at Kelantan on 24 – 25 October 2025. On the other hand, it was mentioned that the full establishment of Kelab PALS will be in place by 2027, with the current 661 schools registered with NREB. Last but not least, the importance of energy conservation and the protection of nature in our daily life is emphasised with simple acts to be put into practice by everyone. It was hoped that this event would serve as an educational platform for the young, and further inspire them to national leaders in promoting environmental conservation.
