Bintulu 11 Sept 2025 Thursday - Today, the Launching Ceremony of the 12th Premier of Sarawak Environmental Award (PSEA) 2025/2026 was successfully held at The Imperial Hotel, Bintulu, from 8.00 am to 12.00 pm, with a total of 229 participants including representatives from government agencies, industries (large, medium, small, and micro), local authorities, and NREB staff. 

The event was officiated by YB Datuk Haji Len Talif Salleh, Deputy Minister for Urban Planning, Land Administration and Environment. 

The ceremony featured the launch of the new PSEA logo, Coffee Table Book, Guidebook, and Judging Manual, alongside the introduction of one new award sub-categories, the Micro Enterprise and new sector, the Fishery & Aquaculture Sector – aimed at expanding participation and recognising more sectors for their environmental efforts. 

The objectives of the event were to officially launch the 12th PSEA 2025/2026 and to promote awareness while encouraging participation among industries, local authorities, educational institutions, NGOs, and the community, thereby fostering collaboration towards environmental sustainability in Sarawak.
